Camping/RV Parks in the Bay Area

Unfortunately there isn't much in the way of campgrounds or RV parks, San Francisco isn't big on camping and it is specifically prohibited on Treasure Island (and they wouldn't consider a waiver for us).

The nearest RV park is the Candlestick RV Park which is near Monster Park (formerly Candlestick Park). It's about 20 minutes/11 miles away from Treasure Island.

There are some other, regional campgrounds listed at Parks and Campgrounds.com that may be worth checking out if you don't mind a bit of a commute to TI.
